Capt. Chris is a licensed and insured guide who has run with Capt. Kyle the founder of Marker 1 for several years and grown up on Florida waters! I am a retired LEO and Proud Army Veteran.
Guiding isn’t a side job here at Marker One, its our only job! And your crews safety is our number one concern.

We offer 6 Hour Charters only! And here is why!
More thorough trip than 4 hour, allows for longer runs and more time with rod in hand. 6 hours tends to be the sweet spot for most groups. And we have time to move around if needed.
(But you should be able to pee off a boat if needed!)

Marker One Supplies all the fishing gear you need and covers your fishing license, all you need to bring is something to eat and drink, a good hat ,sunscreen, and sunglasses and we will bring the rest.
SCALLOPING PRICING

$ 550 for up to 6 people for a 4 hour trip leaving the marina at 7:00am to 7:15am.
We are legally limited by the coast guard to 6 people per vessel and age does not matter. No guide in Steinhatchee is capable of legally running over 6 people per vessel for scalloping.
We are able to accommodate larger family or corporate groups with multiple vessels, we would be more than happy to line everything up with multiple captains for a larger group just give us a call and We will handle it. We work with multiple Captains in Steinhatchee and can make whatever you need happen!
** Please arrive at least 15 minutes early, your booking time is the departure time. Timing during scalloping season is very important and some dates we have multiple boats running at once so please don’t make another group wait on you **
All Trips Are Private , Only The People You Bring Will Be On The Boat.
All Scalloping Gear included (except for small children); Mask , Snorkel , Fins , Bags. But if you want to bring your own that is encouraged as not all mask fit all people.

Deposits are neither transferable nor refundable during scallop season.
**** WE DO NOT CLEAN YOUR SCALLOPS ****
But there are multiple scallop cleaners in Steinhatchee but many days Sea Hag Marina has cleaners on certain days.
If you are cleaning your own scallops please bring a 50 quart or larger cooler to take your scallops home!
All bookings requiring a deposit over $100 must be paid in full at the time of the booking. Those funds are nonrefundable but may be transferred if the day is deemed unsafe by the captain. The safety of our crews are the most important thing! decision will not be officially made until the morning of the date of the booking. If the weather is deemed safe on the date of the booking you forfeit the funds if you choose to not partake in the charter.
